Vocabulary words

1. Egress – noun – an outlet or exit - बहार आना

Synonyms – Exit, emergence

Antonyms – entrance, immersion

E.g. I had a panic attack in the haunted house when I could not find an egress leading to the outside.

2. Ordain – verb - to deliver a decree or confirm a person into a religious ministry - आदेश देना

Synonyms – order, decree

Antonyms –cancel, retract

E.g. For the first time, our conservative church elders will ordain a woman as a minister.

3. Miscreant – noun - an individual who has misbehaved - बदमाश

Synonyms – malefactor, wrongdoer

Antonyms – angel, good

E.g. The principal took the miscreant out of my classroom and placed him in the in-school suspension room.

4. Jurisprudence – noun – rules of government or society - विधिशास्त्र

Synonyms – law, act

Antonyms – lawlessness

10. Uproarious – noun - exceptionally funny - हास्यकर
